Cartoon Effect Tutorial

Eye Color Tutorial





Step One: Open the image you're editing in photoshop.
Zoom in on the eyes you would like to color.
Next select a brush, hit Q on your keyboard, and color in the iris of the eye.
now, your eye should look red.

Step Two: Hit Q again, and then Shift>Control>I

Step Three: Create a layer from the area selected by hitting Control>J.
Now to bring up the color balance by Hitting Control>B.
Play around with the colors until you see one you like.

Step Four: To create a cartoon effect, make sure the image is in
RGB color.

Step Five: Next Hit Filter>Artistic>Poster Edges on your keyboard, then click OK.

Step Six: Now you adjust the brightness and contrast so that the brightness is 10, and the
contrast is 30.

Step Seven: Finally, hit Filter>Artistic> Cutout and click Ok. You should now
have have your new image.
